Will be at King's Cross Books on Monday as usual, have to set up summer schedules for the part time staff among other things. *wanded to Weasleys* Anything needed from home? | 6:11 pm | I am so sorry for taking off without warning anyone! My husband Bill was in town for the last few days and we slipped out of town for a short holiday since I was not working. But now its back to life or at least life as I know it. Work has been going well in spite of my sometimes rotten English (but I am getting much better and can write it better than speak it, which helps for the journal system and keeping in touch with people). I also have a student as a tutor, a sweet little girl in my building and this week I am teaching her how to make crepes. Hopefully it will not end like last time when I did this back in England :) But I have to be more social beyond work so suggestions anyone? *Locked to Weasleys and Hogwarts friends* Is everything well on campus? There has been talk of a peeping tom around the shop so just making sure everything and everyone is ok. If anyone needs a safe place to stay off campus please let me know, the flat has plenty of room for both people,cats and owls. |

| 1:01 am | Locked to Trio Era Hogwarts Friends and All Weasleys Still havin those nightmares from de war, been talkin to Bill via de owls, de phone and email but sometimes it jus feels lonely in de flat. But de war changed moi too, no longer de girl I was when I first met everyone. Jus needin to feel useful and worthwhile in de world now, should explain de job at Books-A-Million near campus. De challenge but most figure I'm just de out of country girl, works with de muggles at least. De tutoring dis for me, figured being from France would be a easy way to explain things to de muggles. I'm thinking of having a small flat warming one night next week, just wanted to see when everyone was free. Fred, George, Ginny and Ron: I've left supplies at the dorms, not sure if anyone lost food during the blackout so figured I could help out a bit. Bill is also sendin packages in de next day or so as well. One amusing moment from work: one of de muggles mistook me for a model. No harm was meant too. Otherwise can only hope moi can be an extra and open minded ear... Hopefully dis entry dis locked right, Bill taught me the spell for dis sort of thing over de phone. |

| 11:47 am | Today is the first day of my new start. Bonjour and pardon my French, my English is still not the best. My name is Fleur Delacour-Weasley and I am new to Kansas City. My husband Bill is staying on in England to take care of matters but we are on the phone and email as often as possible. But we agreeded I would join some family and friends here while the process marches on. I am working a few mornings a week at a small bookstore/cafe near the KSU campus and am in business for myself as a private French tutor. But I'm just like everyone else, looking for new found friends and reconnecting with the old. Just be patient as I work on my English and try to understand the computer. | 4:46 pm | Character Information Name: Fleur Delacour-Weasley Age: 22 Fandom: Harry Potter Occupation: Part time clerk at local bookstore/French Language Tutor Housing: (One, Two or Three Bedroom) One Bedroom, Bill Weasley is on NPC status with mod-ok. He'll be visiting every so often untill someone wants to take him on. Point In Fandom Taken From: Post book 7 Brief History: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleur_Dela Fleur comes to Kansas City on suggestion of her husband Bill due to post war rebuilding in England. She is willing but wary since her English is not all that great (but getting better) and she's also having nightmares of all she saw during the war. But Fleur is making the best of things, taking a part time job to improve her English and working out of her apartment as a French tutor. She and Bill are still very much together and they speak via phone several times a week along with lots of mail via owl and occasional visits. But for now she is just like most of the others, just trying to recover and regain some level ground. But she does have a heart under the ice queen looks, hoping to make her apartment a haven of sorts for the family and anyone from Hogwarts that just needs an open ear. She is also in constant touch with her sister Gabrielle who decided to stay in France. PB: Clémence Poésy |
